Should Have DNF'd

 In my opinion there is nothing I want more than to love every book I read. I hoped to be a big 5 star reader, easy to please happy to be there. 

Unfortunately, that's just not who I am. From the beginning this FMC was insufferable. (Spoilers coming now) Obsession over an alleged serial killer have her so wrapped up that she looses her job...a job that she barely makes enough to pay her bill mind you, but she doesn't care her obsession is stronger. 

Once she looses the job don't worry she goes out of state for the trial. How does she pay for it you ask? I mean haven't we spent enough time in part one talking about how little she has? Oh she keeps putting all her purchases on credit cards continuing to max them out...cool super smart of you girl we love it! 

Once the trial is over we hit the murder trope, the brother did it trope and all of those cannot be upstaged by you guessed it...the pregnancy trope. And you know what bother me the most....WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THAT CC DEBIT? Did the rich kid pay them off? We never talked about that? Did you go home still maxed out? How are you going to hit me with over and over and over with a real world problem that makes me want to puke and not even give me closer?

This book BEGGED me to DNF it so many times, I just truly would not listen. I kept telling myself 'it will get better, it has to' but no not for me it didn't. For all the people who enjoyed this book I am envious of you, and I hope to have your bliss, but for me and mine, this just fell flat.
